Dr. Charles R. Drew Math Coaches
Students at Dr. Charles R. Drew learn mathematics in all different ways! Teachers incorporate the use of discourse to allow students to deepen their understandings through rich talk about math. In addition, teachers use the Every Day Counts calendar math program which allows students to build on known concepts daily. It highlights different strands, such as computation/estimation and geometry/measurement.
